Dr. Joelle Majdalani Hachem

Joelle Majdalani Hachem is an Assistant Professor of marketing. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) France, an MBA and a BS degree with Distinction both from LAU. Joelle has been teaching at LAU since 2004 and in many other universities, such as the American University of Beirut, the Sagesse University and more.

In addition to being in the academia, she is passionate about fashion and involved in the fashion industry. She is currently the General Manager of Boutique Marcelle, a family owned business that imports and sells upscale, ready-to-wear garments to female clientele.

She conducted workshops and pieces of training mostly in her field of passion which is Emotional Intelligence. She wrote many publications in the Emotional Intelligence and marketing fields and her current research projects focus on how having high emotional intelligent managers lead to customer satisfaction.
