The Department of Economics at the Lebanese American University in collaboration with the Lebanese Economic Association organized a joint event titling “Education, Employment and Cost of Living in Lebanon.”

The Department of Economics at the Lebanese American University in collaboration with the Lebanese Economic Association organized a joint event titling “Education, Employment and Cost of Living in Lebanon”. The event was held on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 12:00 noon in Frem Auditorium, 205, Byblos Campus. The talk consisted of a presentation on education, transition to employment and cost of living, another presentation of the Know, React, Engage Campaign, videos, and an open discussion with students. Specific objectives of the KRE project are to inform citizens about socio-economic problems impacting their lives through a series of 8 thought-provoking videos, empower citizens by providing them with info and tools, foster debate on such issues, and build a knowledge base of activists who can drive social and economic change in Lebanon.
