About IHT

The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies at LAU is housed in the Schools of Business. IHT is concerned about hospitality and tourism development, determines what makes tourism possible, and investigates how tourism can become an important contributor to the wealth of Lebanon.

IHT conducts applied research to solve particular problems, holds annual conferences and seminars, and, provides educational workshops to local and regional industry leaders.

IHT has invited numerous world renowned hospitality industry leaders and academicians to share their experiences with LAU students and local professionals. IHT maintains active relationship with industry professionals through which it provides training opportunities for LAU students.
