Bio
Dervis Kirikkaleli is a senior lecturer at the Lebanese American University. He holds a BSc in Economics from Eastern Mediterranean University. He is a University of Stirling alum, where he completed his MSc and Ph.D. in Banking and Finance. His research area is environmental economics, energy economics, econometrics, and financial economics, especially for emerging economies. Since 2021, Dervis Kirikkaleli has ranked among the world’s top 2% of Scientists by Elsevier BV and Stanford University. In addition, he ranked among the top 1% of Scientists by Clarivate in 2022. He works as an editor for Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and Emerald Publishers. Specifically, He holds editorial roles in several academic journals, including Financial Innovation, Geoscience Frontiers, Future Business Journal, Geological Journal, and International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management.
