Sami Sadaka is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Lebanese American University. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, U.K. He also holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting from the Lebanese American University.

Sami is the recipient of the Adnan Kassar School of Business Ph.D scholarship in 2014. He has been teaching accounting at the Lebanese American University, both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels, since 2017.

His research is in the field of critical and interpretive accounting research, with an interest in accounting history, accounting education, and the development of the accounting profession. His research has been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals such as Accounting Forum and Accounting History. He has participated in international accounting conferences such as American Accounting Association and European Accounting Association, and also serves as a chair and member of several committees at the AKSOB.
