Biography

Rozette Hesse is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Information Technology and Operations Management at the Adnan Kassar School of Business at the Lebanese American University (LAU). Her multidisciplinary background brings together artificial intelligence, data analytics, bioinformatics and business. She holds an MS in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence from EDHEC Business School in France and a BS in Bioinformatics, with a minor in Business Data Analytics, from LAU.

Her professional experience spans industry and entrepreneurship. She previously worked as a data analyst at L’Oréal, where she received the Best Learning Agility Award, and later founded InBalance, an AI-driven women’s health-tech venture. Her entrepreneurial work has gained regional and international recognition through platforms and programs including VivaTech Paris, GITEX Global Dubai, the Organon Women’s Health Accelerator and HEC Paris Women Entrepreneurship 4 Good.

At LAU, Hesse teaches Artificial Intelligence for Business and Information Technology. Her teaching is shaped by the belief that technology is best understood when connected to real-world decisions, challenges and opportunities. Drawing on her experience across academia, industry and entrepreneurship, she encourages students to explore not only how emerging technologies work but also how they can be meaningfully applied in practice.

Her areas of interest include applied artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, digital innovation, entrepreneurship and applications of AI across business and healthcare.
