Mr. Charles Achkar

As a Vice President at ITG Holding, part of Holcom Group, Mr. Charles Achkar leads the Software Solutions Affiliates. His main responsibilities are to grow the existing software business by addressing the industry specific needs of selected market sectors and expanding into new ones, such as Hospitality, Banking, Higher Education and recently Healthcare.

To succeed in such a competitive and disruptive line of business, Charles constantly seeks new talents, potential leaders, coaches and mentors them to become leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit.

In addition to his core responsibilities, Charles Achkar leads the HR committee at ITG for a successful transformation of the HR department. This has lead to transforming what was more of a personnel department into a “real” HR department, including the establishment of the ITG Academy. Given the success of this venture, the concept is being rolled out across the whole companies of the Holcom group.

Charles lived in Lebanon, the US and the UAE, and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
