Mr. Roy Majdalani

Mr. Roy Majdalani was appointed Vice-President for Administration at LAU in May 2010, leading the areas of facilities management, information technology, human resources, business services, and university protection.

Mr. Majdalani has an extensive background in IT and executive management, both in the USA and Lebanon. His last position prior to joining LAU was CEO/CFO of the Binary Corporation, an IT consulting company based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Majdalani began his professional career as a System Engineer at Bull International in Cyprus. He later joined Texas Instruments (PACC) in Lebanon as a System Analyst. After completing his M.B.A., he served as a Senior Account Executive at Orchard Computer Inc., a partner with Apple Computers in the Boston area. In 1993, he joined Chartwell Home Therapies in Waltham, Massachusetts, as a Project Manager. He later served as an IT Manager for the same company.

Mr. Majdalani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communications from the American University of Beirut, and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
