BlomInvest Bank is launching its yearly Virtual Stock Exchange Competition at LAU.

This competition will help you develop your skills in stock trading. Students will be competing with fellow students to achieve the best portfolio of options and stocks.

Participating students will trade in a mimic Real Life Trading Environment for 8 weeks starting December. Then the final 5 will present to University and Blom jury, top 3 winners qualify to the National VSE Competition.

Qualifying students will have the chance to win monetary prizes.

Winners of the National Virtual Stock Exchange will receive:

1^st Place – LBP 25 million

2^nd Place – LBP 12 million

3^rd Place – LBP 8 million

4^th – 5^th Place – LBP 2 million

 

More details will be provided in the launching session on Thursday, November 26^th at 12 pm. The launching session will also include more information about the trading platform, and the rules and regulations.

Finalists will present their trading strategy to a jury from BLOMInvest and the Adnan Kassar School of Business (AKSOB) on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 1:30 to 2:30PM.

The top presenter will be selected to represent LAU at the national competition of BLOM Invest Vitrual Stock Exchange Competition - 2021.
