ITOM Department Connects Students with Industry Through Odoo Session

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening the connection between academia and industry, the Department of Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM), in collaboration with the AKSOB Career Office, organized a student introduction session with Odoo.

Students discovered the fundamentals of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems through hands-on examples using Odoo. The session guided participants through key processes in purchasing, sales, and inventory management while demonstrating how Odoo simplifies real-world business operations.

The session covered:

• Basic flow of purchase
• Creation of request for quotation (RFQ)
• Purchase order (PO) generation
• Receipt of goods
• Inventory update
• Quotation creation and sending
• Sales order confirmation
• ​Delivery management
