The Institute of Banking and Finance at the Adnan Kassar School of Business invites you to a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Financial Crisis: Banking Reality, Reform and Investment Prospects,” with a special focus on “The Lebanese Financial Crisis and Its Impact on Depositors.”
Bringing together a distinguished lineup of experts, the discussion will shed light on one of Lebanon’s most critical economic challenges—examining the realities of the banking sector, fiscal and monetary policies, and ongoing reform efforts.
The panel will delve into key topics such as capital controls, depositor rights, the restructuring of the banking system and the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) perspectives on economic recovery frameworks. This session offers students, faculty, researchers and industry professionals a valuable opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on a crisis that continues to shape Lebanon’s financial landscape and affect the lives of thousands.
