LAU Economic Policy Talk Series-Dr. Joseph Chami
LAU Byblos Campus - Frem Civic Center 203-204
The LAU economics graduates often work in leadership positions in government, private sector, and international organizations. In order to prepare them for the tasks they will have to carry out and the challenges they are likely to encounter after their studies, the LAU Department of Economics organizes the LAU Economic Policy Talk Series. This series focuses on how economic reasoning and tools are applied in policy-making and implementation. In each session, invited speakers involved in economic policy-making share their experiences and offer the LAU Economics members insights drawn from real-world cases, highlighting both the use and potential misuse of economics.
