Strategic Focus

Geographic Scope

MARSAD’s primary geographic focus is the Arab Mashreq, with research that reflects national contexts while enabling regional comparison and synthesis.

Pan-Arab Collaboration

MARSAD is part of a broader vision for pan-Arab research collaboration. A partner observatory is envisioned at Mohamed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco, focusing on the Arab Maghreb. This twin-hub model enables cross-regional learning, shared data infrastructure, and comparative policy analysis across the Arab world.

Thematic Pillars

Our work is structured around three interconnected pillars:

1 Inequality

2 Poverty

3 Economic Development
