Empowering Future Retail Leaders: Student-Led Retail Exercise Gives Back
Associate Professor of Marketing Dr. Hossein Eslami’s Retailing and Merchandising class held a student-led retail exercise mimicking real-world retail settings. Twenty-five students, in five groups, managed mini on-campus retail booths to hone their skills in planning, purchasing, and customer service. The hands-on experience not only enriched their retailing skills but also benefited the LAU community by raising funds for the Financial Aid Office. The initiative offered students practical application of classroom knowledge while allowing them to enhance their teamwork and entrepreneurial skills. The donation aligns with the program’s commitment to creating an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
