AKSOB Hosts Deloitte’s Green Skills Training
As part of its commitment to sustainability and future-ready education, the Adnan Kassar School of Business hosted the Green Skills for a Green Economy Training at the LAU Byblos campus on November 15. The half-day training session, designed by Deloitte Middle East and the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), offered participants a foundational understanding of environmental sustainability and the evolving economic landscape, while spotlighting the growing demand for “green” jobs and the skills required to pursue them.
Through expert insights and practical discussions, students, faculty and community members explored how the transition to a greener economy is reshaping the world of work and equipping emerging professionals with the mindset, knowledge and practical competencies needed to succeed in sustainability-driven roles.
