EMBA Alumni Celebrate AACSB Accreditation
All-day gathering in the beautiful surroundings of Qnat, Bsharri.
Me. Roger Tanios (‘14) and his wife, Mrs. Nada Tanios, held an all-day event on Sunday, May 22, at their property in Qnat, Bsharri, to celebrate the School’s AACSB accreditation. The gathering took place at “Beit elsit Nada” – a hub for art, nature, heritage and beauty.
EMBA alumni since 2012 were joined by AKSOB faculty members and families to acknowledge this significant achievement. Mr. and Mrs. Tanios presented a trophy that was received by Professors Wassim Chahine, Josiane Fahed-Sreih and Wissam AlHussaini on behalf of LAU President Joseph G. Jabbra. The trophy, which is designed by Me. Roger himself, represents a fusion of Lebanon’s map with the Lebanese cedar, and features the School and AACSB logos. The artistic piece conveys the message that LAU’s school of business, with its proud Lebanese heritage, has become among the select number of accredited business schools worldwide.
The invitees were also given thoughtful souvenirs and giveaways commemorating the School’s accomplishment.
