Alumni Spotlight: Enhancing Lebanon’s Export Potential
AKSOB economics alumni and junior economic researchers, Wael Al Achkar and Tina Doumit, at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIA-BML), conducted sectoral studies to identify export growth opportunities in sectors post the 2019 economic crisis. The first study concentrates on the electrical machinery sector, focusing on exporting generating sets to the Netherlands and the European Union. These studies contribute to identifying and exploring new market opportunities for Lebanese products.
