The SAHWA Project (“Empowering Arab Youth: Towards a New Social Contract”) is a FP-7 interdisciplinary cooperative research project funded by the European Commission. This project is led by the Barcelona Center for International Affairs (CIDOB) and brings together 14 other partners, universities and research centers in Europe and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries (among others, the Haute École de Management of Rabat, the CREAD in Algeria, CAWTAR in Tunisia, the American University in Cairo, the Lebanese American University as well as the University of Lleida in Spain). The initiation meeting will be held in Barcelona February 10-12, 2014.
