The Arab Mayors Academy, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA), the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), and United Cities and Local Governments - Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA), is a capacity-building initiative aimed at empowering local leaders in the Arab region to address the unique challenges and opportunities of urban and sustainable development.
