Showcasing LAU’s Research Excellence

Highlighting their work on self-identity and digital spaces, the article by Dr. Maya Farah, Dr. Zahy Ramadan and LAU alumna Yaman Nasserddine (MBA ’24), “When Digital Spaces Matter,” has become one of the most cited papers in the Psychology & Marketing journal in the past two years. In parallel, Dr. Ramadan’s paper “Virtual Influencers Versus Real Connections,” co-authored with international collaborators, is among the most read in Journal of Advertising, reflecting the growing global interest in how social comparisons and parasocial relationships manifest within the virtual influencer phenomenon. These achievements reaffirm LAU’s commitment to impactful research.
