“The future of hospitality is in Asia”
Professor Kaye Chon shares his East-Asian perspective on hospitality and tourism with AKSOB students and faculty.
That is what Kaye Chon, professor and dean at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, announced to an enthusiastic crowd of students and faculty at Adnan Kassar School of Business about the East-Asian perspective on hospitality and tourism, and how it is shaping the industry.
Chon’s intervention last April also included a review of AKSOB’s BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management program, the only such program in the country accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The lecture attracted a myriad of distinguished guests, including resort, restaurant and hotel managers, as well as Chair of the American University of Science and Technology’s Hospitality Department Wael Zaraket.
