AKSOB Welcomes Alumnus Walid Assaad for a Talk on Career and Leadership

Adnan Kassar School of Business alumnus Walid Assaad (BS ’01), now a chief marketing officer with over 25 years of global experience, returned to the LAU Beirut campus on October 8 for a talk organized by the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Reflecting on his journey, he said, “The innovation and hands-on learning I gained at LAU were game changers—students should make the most of these opportunities.” Assaad encouraged students to take full advantage of LAU’s advanced programs, noting that such practical and innovative learning experiences, combined with humility, adaptability and a commitment to growth, are key to building successful leadership paths.
