From Banking to the Wine Industry

LAU’s Department of Management Studies in collaboration with the Institute of Family and Entrepreneurial Business (IFEB) hosted an event featuring Carol Tayyar, founder of Les Vignes Du Marje, who talked about her career shift from banking to the family-owned business in the wine sector.

Tayyar discussed the hardships of balancing family dynamics while maintaining market demands, product quality and legacy. Her insights on overcoming barriers and gaining both local and international recognition underscored the significance of sustaining family heritage and product value. Tayyar encouraged students to embrace the complexities of family businesses with leadership skills gained at LAU.
