Business Students Claim Top Prizes and Win Internships

Junior and senior business students, coached by Dr. Hounaida El Jurdi, jointly secured the first and third positions at CampusCraze, an inter-university marketing competition organized by Cosmaline, a member of the Malia Group.
Over three months, 138 students from universities across Lebanon (LAU, AUB, USJ, ESA and La Sagesse) worked in teams and competed in multiple rounds, showcasing their marketing skills through a real-world project aimed at developing a marketing strategy for Cosmaline’s new line of oral care products.

In a final round, which took place on June 6 at the Malia Group premises, a team of marketing experts evaluated the 10 shortlisted groups on their data-driven analysis, creativity in marketing plans and the quality of their presentations.
First place went to LAU’s Brand Architects team , who won $1,000 in cash in addition to internship opportunities at the company for all its members: Lana Ghamrawi, Rayane Khaled, Karl Joe Boyajian, Ralph Khalife.

Trailblazers, another LAU team, claimed third place, with each member receiving a $100 voucher from Cosmaline. The team also won the People’s Choice Award by achieving the highest engagement rates on their Instagram post, including the most likes, comments and shares among all participating teams. As a reward, the group members received free entry to Cosmaline’s summer event, which will be attended by several influencers.
