Bio

Dr. Michel G. Majdalani is currently an Assistant Professor at the Adnan Kassar School of Business. His teaching interests are in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Change Management and International Business.
 
With an acquired multi-disciplinary orientation, Dr. Majdalani holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Grenoble School de Management (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA). His thesis entitled Inter-Organizational Collaborations, Highly Skilled Diasporic Actors, and Home Country Dynamics: A Case Study of the American University of Beirut’s Medical Center is at the intersection of Inter-Organizational Collaborations, Diaspora-induced Organizing, and Strategic and Policy Management. Dr. Majdalani is the recipient of two Awards from the Critical Management Studies Division at the Academy of Management conference (2021) Best Paper Award and Best Doctoral Student Paper Award.
 
Dr Majdalani is an Academic Reviewer for, among others, the Academy of Management, International Business Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Management Decision, and Career Development International.
 
Dr. Majdalani had previously earned three master’s degrees from Columbia University in the City of New York, two in Engineering and one in Business Administration. He is the Former Director of Continuing Education at the Lebanese American University (2007-2017) and carries over twenty years of academic teaching, professional / market experience, and training practice.

Current research interest at the intersection of Organizational Change, International Human Resources and Strategy with a focus on Brain Gains, Diasporic Migration Networks and Organizations.
