Bio

Dr. Michel G. Majdalani is currently an Assistant Professor at the Adnan Kassar School of Business. With an acquired multi-disciplinary orientation, Dr. Majdalani holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Grenoble School de Management (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).  His thesis entitled Inter-Organizational Collaborations, Highly Skilled Diasporic Actors, and Home Country Dynamics:  A Case Study of the American University of Beirut’s Medical Center is at the intersection of Inter-Organizational Collaborations, Diaspora-induced Organizing, and Strategic and Policy Management. Dr Majdalani is an Academic Reviewer for the Academy of Management (2021), an Editorial Reviewer for the International Business Review (2022), and an Academic Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Business Ethics (2023).
 
Dr. Majdalani had previously earned three master’s degrees from Columbia University in the City of New York, two in Engineering and one in Business Administration. He is the Former Director of Continuing Education at the Lebanese American University (2007-2017) and carries over twenty years of academic teaching, professional experience, and training practice.

Current research interest at the intersection of Organizational Change, International Human Resources and Strategy with a focus on Brain Gains, Diasporic Migration Networks and Organizations.

The paper titled “Recasting Sustainable Collaborations through Postcolonial Perspectives”  won two Awards in the Critical Management Studies Divison at the Academy of Management conference to be held from July 29 until August August 4, 2021.
