BS in Business - Marketing
This program is offered by the Department of Marketing.
Marketing is the process by which businesses communicate their intrinsic value to potential customers and to other businesses via marketers who’ve got the know-how of communicating this value, winning customer’s trust and applying their knowledge and creativity into real life situations. Marketers often do the necessary research to study their target audience, anticipate their needs, and devote a vast amount of efforts to showcase their company in a positive light and draw their targeted audience to consider their company’s goods and services by satisfying their needs in an efficient and lucrative manner and meeting their expectations.
Marketing has the power of building brand awareness, growing businesses, increasing sales and engaging customers; and this is due to the fact that the range of services related to it, such as sales, public relations, advertising, research, consumer behavior and new media, all have the purpose of conveying the intended image to the end-customer.
The main aim of the BS in Business Studies with emphasis in Marketing is to acquaint you with a full range of skills and knowledge in business management, with a focus on marketing and the many sub-fields it incorporates, enabling you to successfully create the brand image/message and transmit it in a beneficial way.
The BS in Business Studies - Marketing prepares you for graduate studies, such as the MBA, MS or MA, as well as for professional certifications.
