Bio
Dr. Joelle Majdalani is an assistant professor of practice in marketing at the Lebanese American University. She holds a PhD in business administration with a specialization in emotional intelligence from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, and an MBA from Cornell University/IMHI. She is also a certified professional coach, complementing her academic and consulting roles with expertise in personal and organizational development.
Her work focuses on emotional intelligence and fashion marketing. She is a regional consultant with the International Trade Center (a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization), where she designs and delivers trainings for SMEs and business support organizations. Her workshops—such as Teaching with Heart: Developing Emotional Intelligence in Education and marketing bootcamps for startups—connect academic research with industry practice.
Alongside her academic role, Dr. Majdalani is the general manager of Boutique Marcelle, bringing hands-on retail and fashion buying experience to her teaching and training. At LAU, she has contributed to curriculum development through original courses in emotional intelligence and fashion marketing.
She remains committed to continuous learning, actively engaging in international conferences, faculty development programs, and applied learning initiatives, while designing impactful workshops for students and professionals.
