Behavioral Science for Climate Action Talk at LAU
As part of the Beirut Economics Research Seminar Series, Dr. Mohamed El-Komi, associate professor of economics and the director of the Behavioral and Economic Decision-Making Lab (BEDMLab) at the American University in Cairo, delivered an engaging session on October 8 at LAU on behavioral and economic decision-making and its power to drive real-world impact. Drawing on his ongoing research and the work of BEDMLab, he shared innovative behavioral solutions that may tackle climate challenges in Greater Cairo, from air quality and waste management to sustainable mobility, highlighting how evidence-based interventions can inspire change and improve lives.
