Lara Habib
Lara Habib (BS ’01) is a senior business journalist and anchor at Al Arabiya Business, where she has covered regional and global financial markets since 2006. Based in Dubai, she anchors Aswaq Al Arabiya, the network’s flagship business program, and reports on major international events, including the World Economic Forum, IMF–World Bank meetings, G20 summits and the Future Investment Initiative.Throughout her career, Habib has interviewed some of the world’s leading policymakers, business executives and economic thinkers, including heads of international organizations, central banks and global corporations. She began her career as a research analyst at BLOMINVEST Bank and holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the Lebanese American University. Fluent in Arabic, English and French, she is recognized as one of the region’s leading voices in business journalism.
