Institute for Banking and Finance

Established in 1997, the Institute for Banking and Finance has long served as a platform for advancing collaboration between academia and the banking and financial sectors. Following a period of limited activity, the Institute was officially reactivated in fall 2025 as part of the Adnan Kassar School of Business’s (AKSOB) strategic commitment to strengthening industry engagement, experiential learning and academic excellence.

The Institute has been relaunched with a renewed vision, mission and strategic priorities that align with AKSOB’s broader objectives of preparing future-ready graduates and fostering meaningful partnerships with the financial community. It serves as a bridge between students, faculty and industry, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development and collaboration while contributing to the advancement of Lebanon’s banking and finance sectors.
