Designing Powerful Presentations
On the 9th and 10th of December, LAU’s Dr. Jordan Srour, Assitant Professor, Department of Information Technology and Operations Management, gave a workshop to 14 analysts at NBK Capital. The workshop, entitled “Designing Powerful Presentations”, gave the participants a set of tools to structure, write, and design their reports. The analysts, from all areas of NBK Capital (Fund Administration, Product Analysis, Portfolio Analysis, Investment Banking, HR and Corporate Communications), came to the workshop with a desire to improve a specific document or reporting tool. During the course of the workshop the participants had the opportunity to practice presenting their work, critiquing the work of others, and ultimately improving their reporting skills for clients - both internal and external to the bank.
